Dr. Okoro has worked as a primary care physician and primary care doctor for over 12 years. In addition to being a PCP, she has been a board-certified weight loss doctor for 4 years and actively invests in continuing education courses. She is currently holds a medical license in 11 states.
Olubukola Okoro, MD, is an internal, obesity and lifestyle medicine specialist at RescueMD serving patients in and around Allen Texas.
Dr. Okoro takes a patient-centered approach to medicine and really looks forward to meeting and forming a special bond with all her patients.
Dr. Okoro attended Metropolitan State University and received a bachelor’s in biology. She became a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and went on to receive her registered nurse license.
Following college, Dr. Okoro worked a few years as a registered nurse before attending Ross University School of Medicine. She completed her clinical rotations in the United States and attended a three-year residency program in internal medicine at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Okoro is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and received her Texas Medical License in 2015. She is also board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
During a brief visit to the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, area, Dr. Okoro fell in love with Allen, Texas, and knew it was the perfect place for her to start a family. She worked as an internal medicine physician at Texas Health Presbyterian in Dallas, Texas, and Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Allen, Texas. Following that, Dr. Okoro decided to open her own practice.
Dr. Okoro has deep roots in Allen, Texas, and absolutely loves the community. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tochi, and two sons, Caleb and Joshua.

Dr. Naveed has worked a primary care physician and primary care doctor for over 10 years. In addition to being a PCP, she is also a weight loss doctor and actively invests in continuing education courses.
Aminah Naveed, MD, is an internal medicine specialist. She serves patients at RescueMD at both the Allen and McKinney, Texas offices. Dr. Naveed is board-certified in internal medicine and acquired her Texas Medical License in 2021.
Dr. Naveed was born in Pakistan. She was always drawn to medicine and knew she wanted to become a physician from a very young age. She has a passion for serving humanity, which was instilled in her during her childhood.
Dr. Naveed received her medical degree from Ayub Medical College, one of the most prestigious institutes in Pakistan. She then completed her clinical rotations in the United States and her three-year residency program at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. Interactions with her patients during this meticulous training gave her an exceptional experience and comprehensive knowledge of the latest advances and research in the field of medicine.
Dr. Naveed is a strong practitioner of evidence-based medicine. She is well acquainted with counseling patients regarding preventive care and positive lifestyle changes. Her communication and bonding skills with patients set her apart from other providers.
Texas was love at first sight for Dr. Naveed. She’s lived in Texas since 2010 and settled in McKinney in 2015. Dr. Naveed has strong ties with the community and plans to serve here for years to come.
She enjoys movies, traveling, swimming, horse riding, and biking. While away from work, Dr. Naveed spends time with her husband, Naveed, and three beautiful children, Moosa, Ibrahim, and Zahra.

Alice Kayirangwa has been a primary care provider for many years. In addition to being a PCP, she also practices medical weight loss with RescueMD.
Alice’s journey to success is truly remarkable. Coming to the United States from East Africa at a young age, she faced numerous challenges while adapting to a new country and culture. Despite those challenges, Alice fearlessly embraced the opportunities that came her way, determined to carve her own path to success
Through sheer determination and an unwavering work ethic, she has emerged as an inspiration to others in the medical field.
Alice’s pursuit of excellence in her field led her to earn her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Walden University, where she gained a deep understanding of the complexities of family-centered care. Her specialized training equips her with the skills necessary to provide personalized treatment plans, manage chronic conditions, and promote overall well-being.
Throughout her career, Alice has served in various medical areas, accumulating a diverse range of experience and honing her expertise. She has a strong background in infection diseases and is adept at providing comprehensive wellness exams and managing chronic conditions. Her attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional care make her an invaluable asset to our team.
Alice takes immense pride in her role as a mother to her teenage daughter. Her experience as a mother has further enhanced her ability to empathize with patients and understand the importance of personalized care. Recognizing the significance of family, she strives to create a nurturing and supportive environment for her patients.
When not tending to her patients, Alice finds solace in her hobbies. She has a profound love for travel, eagerly exploring new cultures and gaining a broader perspective of the world. Additionally, she values quality time spent with family and friends, cherishing moments that allow her to create lasting memories. As a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, she delights in trying new restaurants and cuisines, appreciating the culinary diversity that different cultures offer.
In addition to her professional and personal pursuits, Alice believes in giving back to the community. She dedicates her free time to mentoring younger women, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.

Karen Massey, MSN, WHNP, is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner passionate about empowering women to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being throughout their lifespan. She provides women’s health care services to those in and around Allen, Texas, at RescueMD.
Karen was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent most of her youth in New Jersey. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. After graduation, Karen joined the United States Army Nurse Corps, where she trained and served as a women’s health nurse practitioner for 10 years.
Later, she studied at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earning her master’s degree in women’s health and adult medicine. Karen is board-certified by the National Certification Corporation in Women’s Health.
Karen arrived in Allen, Texas, in 2000, where she’s continued to provide women’s health care services to women in the North Texas area for the past 22 years. She is excited to join Dr. Okoro and her amazing healthcare team at RescueMD and serve the community in and around Allen.
In her off time, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her new granddaughter. She belongs to several pet rescue groups and has three fur babies of her own.

Melissa Coltman is a primary care provider with RescueMD. In addition to being a PCP, she also practices medical weight loss with RescueMD. She enjoys caring for patients in Allen and McKinney, Texas, and the surrounding communities. At RescueMD, Melissa is proud to partner with patients to help them achieve their health care goals.
Melissa moved to Texas during her high school years. She earned a BSN from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. Shortly after graduation, she married her college sweetheart. They moved to Dallas, where she began her nursing career at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, caring for patients in the medical ICU.
As a teenager, she met a nurse practitioner who greatly influenced her trajectory. After eight years of working as a bedside nurse in the ICU, PACU, and ER, she graduated from Texas Woman’s University with her MSN.
Melissa has spent the last six years working as a nurse practitioner in the field of cardiology. She is known for listening to her patients with attention and compassion. She aims to empower them to achieve their personal health care goals. Melissa is excited to join the team at RescueMD.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and sons. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, cooking, and finding out what she can grow in her garden.

Joyce Garrison is a primary care provider. In addition to being a PCP, she also practices medical weight loss with RescueMD. Joyce sees patients at RescueMD in McKinney and Allen, Texas.
Growing up in a tight-knit community, Joyce witnessed the power of compassion and support. These values motivated her to pursue a career in healthcare, with the goal of making a difference in people’s lives. Her commitment to helping others led her to an incredible experience as an HIV outreach volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in South Africa. Living and working in a completely different cultural context, she gained invaluable insights into healthcare disparities and the importance of accessible medical care.
This experience deepened her dedication to the field and inspired her to strive for equitable healthcare solutions.
Joyce earned a master’s in physician assistant studies at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. This rigorous program honed her skills and abilities to practice as a physician assistant. It instilled a commitment to lifelong learning by staying up to date with the most current evidence-based medicine.
In her free time, Joyce enjoys camping, hiking, and kayaking with friends and family. She also enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures worldwide.
Joyce is a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional, ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the community she serves. She is excited to be part of the team of healthcare providers at RescueMD.

After completing bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and Biology from the University of North Texas. She went on to complete a Master of Clinical Nutrition from UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her coordinated master’s program, she became equipped both scholastically and practically to provide evidenced-based nutrition counseling by participating in numerous intern opportunities while digging deep into the science of nutrition in the setting of varying disease states & points within the lifecycle.
In her free time, Brooke loves to cook, hike, travel, spend time with loved ones, and serve the community with her sisters of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Immersing herself in varying cultures, age groups, and schools of thought is one of her favorite things to do. She believes the more that we learn about one another the less different we become.

Krystal Searles, MSN, AGNP has been servicing the DFW area in both primary care and medical aesthetics for the past 5 years. She completed her nursing degree at Saint Catherine University in Minnesota, then moved to Texas to work in a Level 1 trauma unit and surgical orthopedics at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She completed several rotations at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Encompass Rehab, as well as LTAC and SNF facilities as a student.
While pursuing her master’s degree at Maryville University, she simultaneously obtained numerous certifications in laser and injectable therapies including neurotoxin injections, filler, hair removal, BBL, RF microneedling, cool sculpting, Q-switch laser therapy, and carbon peels. She has had the privilege to provide training sessions with multiple medical providers for large laser corporations, as her passion is not only in services but also education.
She also has extensive experience in primary care and weight loss. She got advanced training in weight loss and has subspecialized in that area of medicine for a while. She currently sees both primary care and weight loss patients.
She has three beautiful children which she spends most of her time watching them excel in their sports and music programs. On her free time she runs a small rabbit rescue where she has rehabilitated and rehomed numerous animals over the years.
She enjoys being a part of the RescueMD team and delivering quality care to her patients.
Allison Kuo is a primary care provider with RescueMD. In addition to being a PCP, she also practices medical weight loss with RescueMD.
Allison earned a master’s in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University, Glendale in Phoenix, Arizona. Her comprehensive training has equipped her to be a compassionate and knowledgeable healthcare provider, focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Outside of her professional life, Allison enjoys exploring new crafts, with knitting and sewing being her latest hobbies. She also loves trying new cooking and baking recipes, which she shares with friends and family.
Allison views healthcare as a form of empowered compassion and is eager to use her skills to make a positive difference in her community.
